K from Dolce & Gabbana, meet the new king of men’s perfumery

Dolce & Gabbana is one of the most influential brands on the planet in terms of fashion and perfume. His secret? Highlight his Italian origins and the charm of the Mediterranean, while showing charisma and elegance in each of his compositions. However, it is precisely all this that we find in his new perfume: K by Dolce & Gabbana . Presented in a crowned bottle, it navigates between freshness, spicy amber notes and woody virility. On screen, it is already accompanied by an advertisement. So, how about a trip to medieval Italy, in the company of Mariano di Vaio?

K from Dolce & Gabbana, welcome to the Italian vineyard!

The advertisement for Dolce & Gabbana’s perfume K takes place in the heart of Italy, and more precisely in the village of Montepulciano, a picturesque place surrounded by numerous vineyards. This advertising campaign reveals to us the image of a man fully developed and aware of the luck he has. First filmed in a vineyard, he then rides a motorbike to reach the old town of Montepulciano. Several portraits depict his quiet strength and natural charisma. Mariano di Vaio, muse of Dolce & Gabbana, is first surrounded by his friends before joining his wife and son. In this commercial, the Dolce & Gabbana man embodies virility while riding his motorcycle, then camaraderie and protective love alongside his family… Exactly what Mariano di Vaio is in life.

Mariano di Vaio, the new Dolce & Gabbana man

So who is Mariano di Vaio really? On all fronts, he is at the same time a brilliant businessman, an Italian influencer, a model, an actor and also a young dad. He therefore looks marvelously like the man he is in this advertisement: “At the same time husband, father and entrepreneur, Mariano reigns supreme over his daily life, establishing himself as the ideal choice to embody this new Eau de Toilette” , explains Dolce & Gabbana. Accustomed to the world of luxury, he has already collaborated with major fashion brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Maserati, Omega and Calvin Klein, while recently launching his own range of jewelry, shoes and eyewear. Ambitious man, nothing seems to be able to harm his determination!

The other protagonists of the advertising of the perfume K

But good publicity would be nothing without captivating music to accompany it … However, on this occasion, Dolce & Gabbana put the dishes in the big ones and called on one of the most famous composers: the iconic Ennio Morricone. The Oscar-winning composer directed the soundtrack for Dolce & Gabbana’s K fragrance campaign, while teaming up with director and photographer Mariano Vivanco. Of Peruvian origin, he is now living in New Zealand and works regularly for the biggest fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Muse Magazine and GQ. The result is a beautiful advertisement, the success of which owes nothing to chance.

The aroma of the good girl perfume has been described as a typical example of a feminine fragrance that is neither overbearing nor too strong. In most cases, it has a delicate floral scent that smells both sweet and fresh, but not in an overwhelming way.
